Ok guys,

Unless someone has a better idea on how to remove a Lemonpeel Angel that has eluded me for months (I am thinking maybe a shopvac would work... wetdry shopvac)

I need some help to drain my tank and then remove the spawn of satan a-hole angel.

What I need:

1. Large Containers (to hold the water that I will eventually pump back in)
2. Moral Support
3. Someone to run interferance on the wife while I do this

I have a 135G tank so I am thinking I will need about 100-110 Gallons holding capacity. I have beer.

Thanks,

Shane

lolz... wow this just sounds like a really bad situation gone hella bad.... umm... i would shop vac that succa. :D

Maybe... perhaps I will reaquascape... hmm I still need bins to stick corals in though. Many are attached to rocks.

i got a big *** brute rubber maid trashcan and a smaller 20g one.

Grab another big trash can or two and you should be good to go on the water drainage. I also have a mag 12 and if you really feel like launching some water, a mag 36 with hose barb adaptor.. drain that tank in a matter of 45 seconds im thinking...

ReefMeister has convinced me to try the sunglasses and net method. So he is swinging by most likely tomorrow.

If not, I got another fellow with a classic fishing technique that will give it a shot.

If not, I am draining the tank!!!!

Thanks for the help peeps!

If all else fails, remember, "There is no problem that cannot be solved with the proper application of high explosives"

I was kinda thinkin' along the lines of ".50 caliber Motion-sensing Gatlin Cannons"....

Oh wait, no,....that was my solution for dealing with taggers

Oh wait, no,....that was my solution for protecting the U.S. border

Oh wait, no,....that....that....ah, hell....I just like to thought of ".50 caliber Motion-sensing Gatlin Cannons" for any solution!

:D

Heeeeeeeeer fishy, fishy, fishy! :uzi::fish1::hammer:

Mesh netting stuff in the fabric section at walmart: $1
Fishing weights to tie on the bottom of the netting: $1
Suction cups for the sides: $2

If you can, pen him to one section of the tank, then you only have to move those rocks/corals. You can also slide the suction cups in one direction to narrow the space he has to swim in.

I use 1 or 2 qt size clear plastic cookie containers. If it has a favorite rock to hid in put the rock in the container and leave the container in their a while for it to get used to it. The just pick the container up when the angle is hiding in there and your set. I have used variations on this trick to catch many fish. my favorite it to but the container on its side with some macro algae in it and the gently coral the wanted fish with my hands or what ever. the fish usually will hid under the algae and you just pick up the container gently and the fish does not even realize it has been caught. Much less stressful on you and the fish. Especially one that are prone to jumping!

i got 2 blue tangs and 2 yellow out of my tank buy hunting them down with a flashlight and a net at night... give it a try

I've got a ~30 gallon brute that has only ever contained saltwater in huntington beach, if you need it. My Motion-Sensing Gatlin Cannon is broken at the moment, or I'd let you borrow it.

hummm.....

1. get a high watt hair dryer.
2. plug it in near the tank.
3. drop it in and watch your old friend float to the top.
4. unplug hair dryer (tricky part)
5. take hair dryer out of tank.
6. net your old friend.
7. break out wasbi.
8. enjoy sushi!

problem solved!
