Need help - Roger - thick glass

I have the round ones that come with the 6105. The box says up to .74" and I would say that is the extreme upper limit. They just don't hold with my 3/4" glass.

There is a 6205.50 magnet that is rated at .98" that can be bought separately. I have not actually used the magnets on a tank so think personally. Are the pumps actually falling off or do they just not seem secure? Roger will post on Monday I am sure.

They should stick on 3/4", the hold may not be super solid, basically if you bump it, it will fall, but it should stick. If this is laminated glass or glass with an acrylic backing it probably won't work and you would need the 6205.500 which is for up to 1". I am guessing either the magnets are defective or there is something eccentric about the glass panes, if the glass is very green this is a sign of high iron and that may have some effect as well. Also, the tank must be full, the pumps are a lot heavier without the bouyancy of being submerged and that will also cause them to fall.
