Well, my SPS aren't doing too well in my 40g. I think it is my Flame Angel that is nipping at them.
So, what I am thinking of doing:
Set up a 10g tank with a 250w SE RO1 pendant and a Seio 820. I have a 200w heater with a temperature controller that I can run on it.
I really can't get of the Flame Angel because I've never really seen him nip at my SPS and he's my dad's favorite fish (still waiting on my dad to set up a softie tank )
So do you guys think I should set up the 10g? I can do water changes pretty easy and I already have all the drygoods for it.
So far I have I had the following start to show RTN/STN/tissue loss: a ORA Blue Tort, a miscellanous maricultured Acropora, and another ORA frag that is started to loose tissue around the base but it stopped. And now today my Reefer Madness emerald milleapora is starting to STN.
Or should I see if I can find another reefer to babysit my corals till the 180g is up?
Mainly I'd be running the tank from now to when the 180g BB is setup...
