need help with ac3

ahhhhhh, ok. so if i say LT1$-A03. then it's saying the light is on the 3rd outlet on the top row?

Derrell, sound like you are making this way more complicated than it is. You cannot assign individual outlets. Your choices are either:
A 01-08
A 09-16
B 01-08
B 09-16
C 01-08
C 09-16
D 01-08
D 09-16
Thats it, only 8 different choices.

The white dip switches on the left hand side determine how they are assigned. The first 2 switches starting from the left hand side determine the letter, and the second 2 switches determine either 1-8 or 9-16.

Just flip all of the dip switches up, and your addresses will be A01-08. Starting from the top left outlet on your DC8, that is A01.

the DC8 outlets are then numbered in this fashion:

A01 A02 A03 A04

A05 A06 A07 A08
