Need help with acan lord

I have a colony of acans that are just not opening the last few days. Every thing in the tank looks great but this guy. It has a sister colony that looks fine. I did just open a new bag of reef crystals for my last water change and thought it could of been that but like I said before ,the rest of the tank looks well.
I will post some parameters as soon as I test tonight.

Has anyone had this happen to theirs? Any thought?

Maybe those (whet look like) candy canes right to the left are sending out sweepers? Did you move it recently into a different flow?

Actually the candycanes and acans have touched in the past and neither were affected.
The hammer on the other side is an other story but the flow has always prevented it . But I suppose it is a possibility. It is possible I moved my power head a bit.

Mine sometime close up like that for a bit but not for whole days I would think something is probably stinging it or picking at it.

Has your acan lord opened up yet? I've got three acan colonies. Sometimes one colony will just randomly close up/not fully inflate for no reason. This can last anywhere from half the lighting cycle to a couple days. I think it might be a way to let current sweep away sand or detritus that may build up under the polyps JMO.

A good watger change seemed to do the trick. It is back to normal. Just got a little worried because that was the first time it happened since I got it!
