Need Help with Achilles

MY achilles tang has developed what looks like peeling skin. Does anyone know what this is. I have had him for over a year now and this just startyed yesturday. Much Thanks for any help. He is eating fine and shows no ill effects,but is staying in water current towards top.

wow aweful. Pull that fish out of the water now and put him alone in a 30 gallon or something and fast. Im not sure what that is but I think you can rule out MHLLE.

Yes, all other fish appear fine. He finally let me take him out. I placed him in a quaranteen tank and he wasn't doing so good,so rather than what I thought was suffer, I froze him with liquid nitrogen,and placed him in my freezer. I'll take him to a fish vet I know and try and find out what caused this as I've researched for the last 2 days and really came up with nothing that matched. First fish death for me in almost 2 years of reefing, and he was my favorite,would always greet me first thing in morning and eat out of my hand. Man I gota check my depression med dosage because this death really hit me hard, I hate to watch anything suffer with a few exceptions. Thanks for the suggestions I'll keep you posted as to what I find from vet.

Yes please do. Im curious what kiled him like that all of a sudden, expecially since you said in one day he looked like that? Vet will probably just say it was a bacterial infection or a parasite.
