I have had this coral for some time. He has grown quite well over the last 6 months. I ensure he has high water flow and all parameters in my tank are normal. I actually havent tested magnesium yet but i will here soon. He is fading at the bottom in a way that is showing a slight blue to grayish color at the base of it nearest the rock he is mounted to. Is he dying? Please help.

Are you talking about the white patch at the base? Looks to me like that Frogspawn stung it. I think this is the most indestructable coral there is. Also make sure the flow isn't just beating the coral to death. It needs a TON of flow but it needs to be as random as possible

i actually moved it to this upper rock right b4 i took the pic. However, it was on the sand bed next to a plate coral. I bet the plate coral stung it. the MJ1200 is on a wave master and only shoots it with flow every now and again. Ill leave it there for a few days and see if it cures. If not, get ready to frag me another one lol. THanks rob.
