Hi All
I have an overhead refugium that gravity feeds to the main tank. The bulkhead out of the fuge is 1" later reducing to 3/4". There is aproximately 18" of fall iwth a lonf horz run across the top of the tank to the feed. Air is being drawn in and creates a steam of bubbles into the tank. Any creative piping thoughts on how to solve this.
I thought about a sink trap formation that drops below the outlet height with a T on the uphill side that vents the air. I have not tried it yet, just hoping.
