My clown has been sucking on my frogspawn which I noticed today. Is this going to hurt my frogspawn or is he sucking it for nutrients that he needs. I have no idea what to do. I feed it a variety of different foods once a day and he never has done this. I noticed something funny when I seen him playing in the frogspawn more then usual and when I checked he was sucking on its tenticals. Please let me know what to do.:headwally:

That is normal clownfish hosting behavior. It seems like your clown may have selected your frogspawn as a host. Euphillia often make good surrogate hosts for clowns in the absence of an anemone, but the flip side is it might damage the coral. That said, people often report good success with that kind of relationship. I'd just watch the frogspawn to make sure it isn't showing excessive signs of stress/tissue loss. If it isn't, I wouldn't worry about it too much. If it is, ehh, idk what to do then, clowns kinda do what they want.

Thanks am keeping a close eye on my coral. It's just funny to me because my clowns have always hosted the frogspawn but hasn't been acting this way towards it lol

I have a pair of clown hosting my in my 20+ head frogspawn. The only thing I notice is that the frogspawn will not open as much as it should. I ended up fragging it and putting a piece somewhere else in the tank.
