Ok so here is the deal I bought a used 17x17 Elos tank because I love the clean look of it. Unfortunately due to the cataclysmic event of marriage and a masters I have decided to turn it into a fish only/maybe xenia/mushroom tank to save on chemicals, lighting, flow, everything for a few years.(then it's all out sps) Here is the problem I have I bought an Elos because frankly it's a sexy tank, and I want to keep that sexy look even though I don't need a lot of light. So my lighting requirements are.
1. CHEAP
2. Sleek
3. Not Overkill
4. can be mounted with a light tree ( or sleek rear mounted)
I am dying to find something that has a good 12-15k spectrum that is clean and most of all cheap I mean come on it's taking care of Xenia at most.
