need help with dendros

I was wondering if someone could help me with my dendro problem.
The polyps used to always be open, and constantly feeding.
Although I'm not sure its part of the problem, I started dosing Vit. C a couple of months ago for my zoanthids. Not very much - maybe 1/2 tsp-1tsp once or twice a week, and for the last couple of weeks I haven't been dosing at all.
The tissue all seems to be fine, with nothing bothering them as far as I can tell.
I dropped in a couple of pellets last week, and all of the polyps puffed up, maybe a baby or twos polyps were visible for a short time, but still it isn't opening. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've had the colony for almost a year, and it was very happy until a couple of months ago...

Tagging along... I have a very similar problem, but I don't use Vit C. Mine used to be open all day long and night for the last few years, now they are only open at night. I still only feed them during the day, but they only open for a few minutes after that.

bayondai, try not feeding them for a week or so. If they're being regularly fed, sometimes they won't open as much. Make them "beg" for food
