Need help with email notification

Well like the title says I need help. I have had this working in the past but it may have stopped during one of the updates. I can not get it to send email at all. I have tried it with outlook open and closed and also have tried different email accounts. Is there a trick I am forgetting?

we didn't change anything in the last updates regarding emailing

It was just an Idea. Im not sure why it stopped. Any ideas on how to get it working again? maybe Ill reinstall the program.

sometime provider will block the SMTP out to force you to use theirs to fight spammer,, check with your provider if they change anything with the SMTP outgoing!

are you using rogers cable internet?

if so check the website they have just blocked third party outgoing email, you need to register yoiur email with them.

Simple process but pain in the a**e when they dont tell you

Well I can email with this address just fine using Outlook.
Does the software need Outlook going to work? Or does it not use outlook to function?

Ok I got it working again. Im not sure what happend but it must have been corrupted when I updated. I just re entered the data in the boxes and it started to work again.
