Need Help With Feather Dusters

I just bought a small feather duster for the tank and it's very small. About 2 in high with a base about 1/2 in. The flow in the tank keeps blowing it around and I was so frustrated that I took a small piece of rock and placed the duster and rock in the wet/dry sump where there is no or little flow just to see if he would attach himself to it. I came down to the tank this morning he hasn't attached himself yet. Anyone know how to anchor the duster to a rock? Or does anyone have any suggestions?

They don't attach that fast and I would try to stick him in a rock crevis or ect.

Thanks for the reply. How long does it usally take for them to attach themselves to something?

yeah i would just try and plant him like a tree in a hole in the rock
