let me start off with that i am new to the forms but i have been into this hobby for about 12 years+ but just got into reefs and been doing about three years.
just to give you an idea on the tank first. its a 55 gallon built in sump, i have live rock both in front and back. two HO T5 lights, forgot what type of bulbs?
PH 8.2, AMMONIA 0, NITRITE 0, NITRATE 5ppm maybe less cant get a good color and CALCIUM 510 ish??
fish, two zebra damsels, one domino damsel, one clown fish, one serpant star, one sand shifting star, two turbo snails, two hermit crabs, one shrimp ( not the fire, forgot name.) one emerald crab, one sea urchin and some other small creatures but forgot there names? :-(

Ok, now the problem, around two days ago i was feeding my fish when i notice that a chunk of the rock on which the frog spawn is on, is missing? like it was broken off? it does not want to open out like it use too? the one on the bottom is still doing great. is there something i can do or should i leave it and it will heal it self? plus i cant find the piece of rock that is missing? any help would be appreciated.. thank you

here is a pic of it....

I would leave it and let it heal. Make sure it is in a good flow spot, high flow on wounded corals can help prevent bacterial problems.

+1 more.

My frogspawn and other euphyllias prefer low to medium flow. Place it in a spot where flow is limited but it has good light and keep water parameters in check. Frogspawn is pretty forgiving so it should recover if you can do these few things.

Just an update on what's been going on....
My frog spawn is still been the same.. No change as of right now... Just been watching it like a hawk!! Lol! Nothing change in the water.. Did a water change recently. Still looks like it wants to heal?
Thanks for all your comments... The frog spawn is in a low current right now... Just making sure fish or what ever does not bother it!!
