My nano skimmer has been running for about a month and a half now, and I'm having a hard time getting it set. I adjust it a very tiny bit, and let it sit for a couple hours, then adjust it again. Is this slow enough?
Right now it takes about 2 weeks to get a little less than a centimeter of skim stuff in the collection cup. If I allow more air, it quickly overflows after a couple hours. Then I turn it down again, and get absolutely no skim. It's so touchy, what am I doing wrong? The water level stays very constant unless I turn off the pumps for feeding / maintenance while the skimmer stays on. Should I turn the skimmer off as well?
THanks!!
