Need help with tank break down on 6/10

Yeah Guys, Thanks so much for moving that beast for me. I was pretty surprised how well the area under and behind the tank looked after we pulled the tank out.

Once again, thanks to all who helped!!

Yeah, yeah, yeah, stop yer yappin' and go get some touch up paint :lmao:
BTW, my tank looks good with all that new stuff in it, thank you for having me over to move that tank, and relieve you of all that coral :D

Joe,
Thanks for all of the frags and I'm glad I was able to help out.
As soon as I got home my wife went out. I didn't add the corals until about 9pm after the kids went to bed.

Tell your wife that the Hippo Tang is doing great!

I have two nice sized pieces of that coral. It is intensely orange in my reef.

Warren,
I got that rare monti that Joe wanted to give to you. I can bring it to you or you can come to me. But... Considering you have the nicer tank, maybe I should come over with my fragging tools, just in case... :D

I'm actually going to take a small nugget off the rock so we both grow it.

Did anyone get that monti with the green body and purple polyps?

Who has the grape colored monti? I didn't get any.

Yeah please see if you can get that monti to survive. I spent 4 months trying to get Country Critters to give me a piece. It was a small coral on a piece of Live rock they got in so it's not been propagated.

Here is a picture of what you are trying to grow. Taken before the coral bleached on me.

Joe, no worries.
It has already started to color up in my tank with nice polyp extention.
I will give some to Warren. There are 3 small nuggets of it on that rock.

I was wondering where that piece went..........

I basically just took home what you guys didn't want so besides the decent sized grape cap for Pierce, they were just odd and end small frag pieces.

Orange and Grape caps were starting to loose tissue. Hope they recover from the stress. The orange were just tiny pieces but the Grape one for Pierce was a nice size.

Konrad sold me a green and purple monti like that.. of course I killed it...

Good luck with it ..It a beautiful piece when it grows out!

chucj

It's already turning yellow and the polyps are turning purple.
It might be harder for me to frag then I thought.
I'll try.

Bill where's my monti :D

Joe,

I added your 4 squamipinni lyretails to my existing 3 Red Sea variant of lyretails and one of yours is starting to turn into a male.

Interesting to watch as it seems like it happened overnight but now is taking a week or so to fully transform.
Bad part is now it just likes to chase and harass every female that is in the tank now.

Yeah, it's really cool to watch the transformation. Have fun!
