Need help with weirdly detached ric

Hey so I had one of those nighttime premonitions and before going to bed, I checked my tank to find one of my new ricordea florodas had fallen off of its frags plug. thing is that the foot is attached to to a little bit of the plug which looks like it broke off. I got this polyp five days ago. I just put it in a low flow area, but I'm afraid of snails toppling it over. What should I do? Should I cut/pull off whatever frag bit is remaining and hope for the ric to reattach to the rock? or should I just leave it? (I wish I had pics, Ill try to take some tomorrow)

If you are really worried about it, you could always put it in a little cup like what people sell frags in. No lid, put some sand in to keep it anchored down, and let it go. Worse case, if it attaches to the sand, you *should* be able to use it so glue it down.

I would just leave it. Worst case, it detaches and attaches to your substrate, which like marinemanohio said, you can glue. Plus, you might get a new ric if it leaves enough behind.

it it detaches it may get lost in your tank, I have had this happen on more then one occasion, or it ends up somewhere impossible to get to
