need help with wiring

I just bought german end caps from MarineDepot for my temp tank setup. I got them with no instructions. How do they get wired? i know you are supposed to stick a lead in the holes, but which side and how are they secured?

Not to cause offense, but it sounds like you might have taken on a larger project than you are capable of handling.
I would ask MD for some help, but these things generate high voltages during startup and bad/incorrect wiring can caused fires or worse. Get a complete kit if you are struggling.

Thank you for your concern, and no offense taken b/c you can never know the experience of members on this site. However, I have completed many projects far more electrical than this. I just expected to at least see some indicator of + and -. There seems to be a DIY for everything else, does anyone know where to find one for these?
