I have had this tang for about 2 weeks and I noticed this light brown area above his gill and around his eye. I have attached a pic. Could you please tell what this is and how to take care of it. Tanks is a 180 about 6 weeks old.

Could be the beginnings of a bacterial infection. Remove to a QT and treat with antibiotics or maybe Melafix. Is fish still eating? Has his swimming behavior changed?
