I went to my lfs to pick up what they told me was a rhizo. So i acclimate it and glue it to one of my rocks. While i was doing that i saw a hole on the bottom of the coral and what looked like a worm came out. So i called the store and they said that it might have been a "walking dendro". if it was what do i do. I already glued it to a rock . Or is it just a parasite. If it is a parasite i dipped it so would that take care of it. Do you need a picture to better identify it?

Thanks

Google Heteropsammia cochlea and see if that's what you got, they have a peanut worm living inside them that moves the coral around, I imagine the coral will be fine without it and the worm may just find another place to live if your tank can sustain it.

lets see some pics to help ID. rhizo's have several root like structures coming from the base. It should be fine to glue down. I had mine glued down no issues. The root tubes are for the animal to send out offspring sort of. Please post some pics for an ID.

I just found my camera and took a quick pic of it. if you cant determine it because its not open please let me know so i can wait until the lights go out.

Here it is
