Power is out here. I was able to get the tank up and running on a generator after about 2 hours, but it won't make a difference tomorrow without any air conditioning. Does anyone have a window unit I can borrow? Will pay if necessary!!!

Phone number is 314-330-6281....I won't have the computer on much longer.....don't want to run too much power on the generator! Will be up late...

Can you go somewhere tomorrow and get ice and a cooler. You could float ziplock bags of ice to keep the water below 85F. A battery operated pump will keep the water oxygenated for the fish. Or you can periodically dip a bucket in the tank and pour the water back to keep it oxygenated.

I'm sorry I don't have an AC to lend you.

Good luck.

Dont shoot me Steve.

Yes. No window unit. I'm just going to buy one tomorrow morning at Wallyworld to run on the generator. I think it will be easier than trying to ice down the tank.
On a brighter note, the AC people will be here at 8am to fix our air conditioner ;)

It came back on in the middle of the night! I'm watching the morning news right now and it looks like we were pretty lucky.

Dert- I'm at 70 and hwyZ. Where are you at?

i'm off hwy A. off of mexico.
i had power all night. it flickered last night, but the longest it was out was like 10 seconds.
it seems we were very lucky! it sure was windy.
