low light? I thought the coralline prefered lower light? All the corraline in my tank that has access to direct lighting tends to bleach white, while all the stuff on overhangs, under ledges, caves, and ect. tends to be nice and dark purple, some light purple, and nice velvety red colors.

This is all theoretical, but I believe different species and colors prefer different lighting intensities. Mine, like yours Adam, is more prevalent where only a small portion of the light shines on it. Of course, I have a slightly different color that grows under my metal halide. But it's obviously not the same that is in the dimmer spots.

But, in short, Calcium, Alkalinity, Magnesium, and Strontium are things to check for when it comes to Coralline Algae. An appropriate species will populate certain areas of the tank as the lighting permits.
