Oh ok. Yes its hella hard to get it to fit. Do some finger tip pushups then try again. If you fail again, repeat over and over untill you get it to fit.

Dang man Here I thought this was going to be easy .......

Try this.

Get a flat head screw driver, and put it inside tubing, and swivel it inside 360 degrees to widen the tip a little bit at least, this will also get the tubbing hot, then try putting in the pump.

Reason why its so tight is, its HOB, and thats the only thing thats going to keep the pump attached to the skimmer :(

I took a nap and just woke up and read what you posted you are so smart it worked lol thanks :D

when the skimmer is breaking in should there be bubbles? so far the skimmer just haves water where you can view the water level

I ran my skimmer during breakin with no bubbles for two weeks, then I turned the bubbles on.

I am not sure why I did it that way, can not remember if someone told me to or not,but it sounded right at the time.

Now, I am not so sure it makes a difference., unless the skimmer goes into overdrive...

There definatley needs to be bubbles. The bubbles is what will seperate the crap from the water, hence making a nice coat of slime in time=broken in.

make sure all pieces in the pump are nice and tight, if you look at the pic, the grey pieace is the venturi (strainer looking piece), if that isnt snaped in you will get no air for bubbles.

yeah the venturi is in there when i first plugged in the skimmer it had bubbles , i had to turn it off because the water was filling up the collection cup. then I pour it out and fixed the water level. now no bubbles it seems like nothing is working :(

Reason skimmer is overflowing is the 1.5'' tube is in to deep into the bubbler popper thing. You need to pull it out some so water can exit out of it enough for new water to enter without causing the overflow.

nope that wasn't the reason lol someone On NR told me ther directions are not that great. in the directions it says turn knob ( the one where the pump is) 45 degrees. when actually it need to be vertical to get bubble action I just turned it and walla magic :D
