Can anyone please me ID this colony. It's a bit browned out but there's some color there and I think will be nice when it is restored.

WOW. Nice find. Was it a maricultured? If not do you have some idea of origin? Looks like the Strawberry Shortcake Acro or it could be.

That's what I'm thinking!! When I saw it in the tank, it was labeled as "Aussi Acro". I then thought to myself this looked a lot like the Ausi strawberry short cake. Just browning out due to insufficient lighting and poor nutrient of the lfs tank. I swooped it right away.

I am 99.99% sure the Strawberry Shortcake acro is an Ausi Acro. I am 110% jealous. :)

If it is a wild colony, keep an eye on the middle of the colony. If you see any tissue recession FRAG IT.....and give some to me....:P Wild colonies tend be difficult to acclimate when they are that big.

Im 100% sure that is not a strawberry shortcake. You are right that SSC are only from Australia though.

Maybe acropora deswali ?

I have a colony exactly like that, not same color however. Definately not Strawberry Shortcake though

Here's the strawberry...

Got it from the lfs Tuesday night. I think it was a newly acquired piece because it didn't see when I was there the Friday before. When I looked at it, the form caughtmy attention and there was some color so I thought it would be something close to a ssc. I didn't pay much for it. :)
