Need to know what this is and if it's good or bad! Will tangs eat it and what ever other info someone might be able to provide. I did a search but no luck! TIA

This is a picture of some kind of algae that is selling on e-bay. Would like to know what it is before purchasing!

That's interesting. I Have no idea what that is. Do you have any more pictures of it? Could it be a species of Caulerpa?

No, thats the only one the guy sent me. I thought it may be some kind of caulerpa too, but not sure, and don't want to chance it! Actually, heres the ebay listing, and it seems to grow quite well!!!

He states it is a type of caulerpa. It might be a complex of C. racemosa.

Well I had emailed them to see what kind it was and thats why he e-mailed the picture of it closer up. They have no idea and asked me to tell them if I find out!!!

looks like it could be a sample of
Caulerpa racemosa var. macrophyso
grown under less than optimal light.

Do you have a reef club in your area you could probably get a piece of something similar for free we have a club here and they give macro algae away not to mention tons of xenia
