Need information on florida areas

I'm thinking about moving to Florida, and just can't really decide which area to move to. I've always gone to Destin for vacation most years, went to Ft. Myers and the Keys before. Which areas besides the ones I listed would be great for a marinelife enthusiast/collector? I'm well aware of collection laws in Florida, I'm just looking for an area with clear water, nice looking surroundings, lots of marinelife. I really prefer the Gulf side, but what would you guys recommend? Any help/info is GREATLY appreciated! I'm hoping to move this year.

I would say naples. The reason being it is a lot nicer than east coast of florida but you are close enough where you can drive to ft lauderdale for the better diving. There aren't many places in florida i haven't been diving (including all of the major cave systems). Ft lauderdale and key largo have the best all around diving. tons of great wrecks ranging from 30 - 400 ft in depth. If you ever get a chance to dive the hydro atlantic do it... it will change your life (its deep but not really deep) the deck sits at 130 ish and goes to 190 on the bottom by the props. but it has awesome marine life on it. Anyways thats my two cents. However if your looking to dive everyday pompano beach or deerfield beach just north of ft lauderdale is your best bet. I did over 500 dives a year there for 5 years and never got bored. The west coast has **** diving and takes forever to get beyond 30 feet
