Need inner thread size for mounting kit

Tried 1/4 20 and it was a little loose. Tried 6mm x100 no fit.

This is the top coupling that would go to ceiling

I've been told that the size is M5 - .8

Per our conversation today, we utilize a M5 x 0.8.

I can tell u with certainty it is not 5.mm



6 mm but 1.0 is wrong thread
