want to get new powerheads for my 300 mixed reef.
what are some good options?
want to run a wave maker and it sounds like koralias make clicking noise.
its 72x36x24h

I have that same size and have two MP60's. I use them in a gyre flow pattern. One pump for 10 minutes, then the other.

Sounds awesome! But im not a doctor and don't have $1500 for 2 of those. Maybe able to pull off 2 mp40s if they would do or one mp60.

what up pimpin! lol remember that in HS?!? your names cool... ok back on subject. if i was you id buy one mp60. that should be enough for now. just crank it up on high thats all. also in the mean time i would just save up for a second mp60. you dont have to buy both at once. this way it will be easier on your wallet. it will be money well spent trust me. i have a mp40 on my 90 gallon and have it cranked up to about 75% - 80%; as of right now its pretty good for flow but im in the process of saving for another mp40. i dont think 2 mp40 would be that efficient for your tank size.

if your really on a budget i would look into hydor's wave maker and their new pumps that dont click. if you look up mr. saltwater tv on youtube; he has a new video on the subject of hydor. check it out if you like.

But like i said if i was id save up and buy one mp60 then save up more later on to get another one if needed. out of all the money i dumped into my tank for equipment im most pleased with my mp40. these pumps are well worth the money. any future tank i build i will not think twice about buying ecotech's pumps. good luck buddy.
