Ok so I have a 90g Starfire Cube I started about 7 weeks ago with 60 lbs LR & added 30 more lbs about 2 weeks later. CaribSea 80lbs live sand.. I have a great Skimmer in 20L sump that has been filling daily with nasty stuff brown stuff for 5 of the 7 weeks. Brown diatoms have come and gone as well as green hair about 2 weeks ago. Tank only has 1 ocellaris clown, 5 Lg turbos, 2 conch, 2 hermits and 2 cerith. Nitrite=0 Ammo=0, Nitrate about 15. Havn't done any water change yet because I didn't want to disturb cycle. No Phosphates. Using RO/DI water only. I'm in no hurry to stock , but would like to add one more fish just to be able to feed pellets without polluting tank. No Red cyano at all. Just looking for opinions on cycling. Don't think I ever had a spike in ammonia worthy of mentioning. Maybe the skimmer inhibited that. Skimmer is now slowing down to 2-3 days to fill. Stuff is brown but not as nasty as previous weeks. Using a Bubble Magus 5
