need pods

I need to boost the pod population in my tank. I'd rather not have to order $100 of nonsense from someplace like IPSF... any other suggestions for pods? Anyone willing to give me a scoop of sand and/or a clump of cheato from their tank?

I may be able to spare soem chaeto, haven't trimmed it in awhile, as for pods I have a bunch but don't know how to capture the little buggers haha I can try and get some in a bag with the chaeto and let you know how that goes. Usually when I need some pods I just get them from reefs2go .com. they usually have packages with free shipping

I'll check there, see what they have. Most places I've looked have free shipping if I spend a certain amount (considering I only need pods, that's hard to do right now), or I can just order pods and pay 40$ in shipping for 20$ worth of critters.

^ I second reefs2go if no one has any cheato or uvla, Right now (cant say for how long) they have a BOGO deal for 2000 pods for 25$, their pods are really good size and much more than what they state. I tried the 250 pods package my first time to make sure it wasnt some bogus place, had them all over the place some even 1-2mm big!

Yea I think they have refugium packs that come with around 500 pods for 20$ with free shipping...also, i think if you get anythign with free shipping and then something else, everything ends up being free shipping so I take advantage of that sometimes too haha

Thanks... just ordered the cheato + pods with free shipping. I don't need the cheato, but it's worth it for free shipping.

yea, I haven't really ordered anything else through them but I have ordered the pods and refugium packs and also a mix pack with snails/crabs/pods before. No idea how their coral or fish are, but Id rather use the LFS for that anyways. The shipping is usually pretty quick as well

Cheato last time i bought was good with them, the other macro algaes werent so great. CUC is usually pretty good. I bought coral once from them, it was ok, not the best, but certianly not the worst i ever got. Now with Upstate right here in Corning i can get my fish right here.

The free shipping is a great deal, she usually puts that deal on every month or so, i used to buy pods every few months when they went on sale w/free ship, i agree shiping time is quick as well.
