Need product advice

Hi Roger, I'm in the process of redoing my 180 mix reef (72"Lx24"Wx24"H) and I have a couple of questions on what pumps to get. about less than half of the tank is fill with LPS and soft corals, including a large anemone with clowns. The rest of the tank is full of SPS corals.

I have been devating wether to get 2-6105 (maybe too much flow?) or wait for the new 6095 and add two of these babies.

The other Idea was to get one of each. 6095 with LPS/soft corals and the 6105 on the side of the SPS.

In addition to flow I will be hooking a reeflow dart (3000 gph approx. at the hight of the aquarium, which will be diverted into differnt zones)).


One more question, can the 7096 controller be programed with more the one mode on a single day apart from the night mode. for example, Random flow 6hrs and Oscillating current 5hrs and then night mode?

I think the 1 of each plan is the best if you can split of the tank in the way you describe.

You can pick only one mode and would have to load a new program from the computer to change modes. Night mode is automatic if it is selected and is just activated by the photocell. Storm mode is another automatic mode but is a very brief storm you can set for once every 1-7 days to stir up detritus.
