need refugium hob for 55g any help

You can make one out of an HOB filter like is used on f/w tanks. Get the largest one you can and take all the filter pads out, put some macro in it and add a small light and your done. Do a Google search, there is a bunch of info on it out there.

I believe Sean did this with a small HOB filter, and actually has it for sale. But I believe its a bit small for a 55g.

yes, I did and yes I do and yes it is a bit small for a 55, try a AC 110 the mod is very easy and works well. I found instructions on another web forum that specialiezes in nano reefs.
