Need repair for 6055

Hi Roger,
Tried to PM you but your box is full

I have a Tunze 6055 purchased on 11/14/08 at P3 Pet Products and it recently stopped working. Didn't get a chance to take a closer inspection till today. Connector plug was fused to the little black box coming off the 6055 so I opened the box to take a look. Looks like an electrical arc inside that fused the connector. Is this pump still under warranty?

The plug got wet, that is why it has the green coloration, that is the result of copper oxidizing in the presence of salt water. It wouldn't be covered under warranty but it may be possible to repair the pump by soldering a new terminal on the end. The transformer will have to be replaced to ensure a good contact.

Wanted to thank you for the excellent service and also generousity.
I kind of knew that warranty would not apply since the issue looked like water damage but Roger swapped out the pump for one that he had used in trade shows. I did need a new power supply and Roger discounted this item too.
Also replaced a 6025 for no charge.
