Need skimmer help

I would think the tunze 9010 would do a better job than the little H&S skimmers (H&S 110?) that I have seen online.

Im looking at the 90 and 110, not trying to knock on the tunze( i see you own one) but all the experience people have relayed to me with H&S skimmers make it my choice. Im also very interested in a skimmer that i wont have to mess with much, since this is my first skimmer.

not knocking H&S, what is better is better, I just was looking at the specifications for the skimmer and it seems to be not as good as the Tunze, but I have never owned an H&S either. I am not a diehard tunze skimmer fan, I like whatever is best for the cost involved.

currently from my research it seems like the 90 would be perfectly sized for my system and that the 110 would allow me to stock heavily(which im not going to be doing). I understand your point of view regarding cost, im not trying to spend all my money on this setup but i want it to be as good as possible. Im still doing research on H&S, tunze and other skimmers so my final decision might actually change. As of right now even the tank itself is going through changes. The only set things on this setup are outside dimensions of tank and the tek t5 fixture that was just ordered. thanks to all who have pm'ed me about skimmers and thanks to everyone who is expressing opinions here. Please continue to do so since this helps me as well as others users who are not as experienced with skimmers.

I have a tunze skimmer and I am happy with it.I had a deltec mce 600 worked fine but it was overpriced in comparison to other skimmers. It was a well built skimmer.I would say I have seen many h&S owners on this site and you never see people unsatisfied with the product.Deltec iis great but pricy. The tunze has a small foot print and as a good LPH rating for its size price.I never looked into ER I had looked at larger ER models wich weren't cheap but My tank was large 150 plus gallons. When you get into larger skimmer the price is much higher. At the size of tank you are looking at you should get a kick *** skimmer for $300.In fact more than likely you will be overskimming.I have never had a nano tank seems much harder to take care of than a larger system.More water more room for error.I don't think you will go wrong with ER Tunze or Deltec. The BM would be way to much of an overkill.
