Need some 9002 opinions and facts

Well I have a 45g cube (cycling) and a 15g sump running about 8 gallons in it.
I currently have a iTech cone and it's simply too big and I was thinking of switching to the 9002.

Are any of you running it on the low side of depth?

Total volume of the system will be real close if not over the 52g guideline.
I plan on having a mixed reef SPS-Zoa's will it be enough skimmer in your opinions?

Thanks

The 9002 is a great skimmer, but I found that mine is a little touchy with water level.
I got best results with the water level at or slightly above the indicator on the skimmer.

What do you mean by "low side of depth?" Are you refering to the water level in the sump?

The smallest iTech is more like our 9410, you are definitely making a major downgrade in skimming performance. I would rate the 9002 at about 30 gallons max for SPS. It is a good skimmer but I think it is undersized for your proposed tank volume and inhabitants.
