Need some Acan and Chalice help

asonitez

Floodicus Maximus Flooris
I recently got a beautiful sun coral colony. Its not dead and it opens partially but I never get tentacles.. I have it under a bridge at the moment shaded... how do i get it opening?

I have a watermelon chalice that i got at an awesome deal but its been slowly loosing color in my frag rack.. I moved it to a cliff face low down in the tank in the shade and i see it fluffed out a but but still loosing some color.. i think it needs feeding but i'm not sure..

I have a few acan mini colonies that are 3+ polyps... they are fluffed out and looking food I tried feeding them with some brine shrimp by dragging the shrimp across their mouth and some picked up some shrimp and held on. i have one though thats dosent seem to want to open up fully. Not sure what i should be doing. They are in the bottom most of my tank... lighting is

The Acans might take some time to acclimate. If you have one that doesn't seem to eat or doesn't open, just leave it be for a while. I don't think they like to be moved much especially when they are acclimating to a new environment. My largest frag didn't take any food for over a month, and now it feeds regularly like my other pieces. Good luck, I personally prefer LPS... more movement. :D
