First question....
A week ago I posted about a clownfish I had gotten from a LFS that I was having trouble with. Allthough the clownfish seems to be doing ok, hes still not eating any food that I offer him. He is however very active and looks healty. He even comes to the side of the glass to greet me when it's feeding time. I watch him and he never eats a bite. I have seen him pick at pods in my tank though. He does this often. I'm wondering if this is normal and how long can he go like this? Also, when should I worry about him not eating? It's been about a week since I got him and I try to feed him frozen brine, mysis, bits of shrimp, bits of oysters, and even a flake food I got from the LFS. I offer him food in the morning and in the evening. What should I do?
Next question.....
I had a 100 gal fish tank plopped in my lap this week. Right now I have a 55 gal and I pretty much understand how to move everything over to the 100 gal ( I think). only im confused about how to move the sand. I would like to use some of the sand in my 55 tank because of the stuff that is in it. I have a deep sand bed in the 55. Can I use all the sand in there? How do I move it over to the 100 gal without loosing any fish. I'm not sure how to go about it at all. I cant find much on line about how to do a switchrew like that. any advice, steps, what have you, that anyone can offer would be great. I feel bad that just when I got my lil clownfish half way happy, its time to move.
By the way, I am in no hurry to do the move.
Thanks so much for your help, yeall are great!
