Need some Ca. Reactor Help

hey all,
I posted this thread in lighting and filtration, but this forum gets more traffic.
I'm having trouble with my Ca. Reactors effulent flow. Please help! Thanks in advance

We had same issues for over 8 months, and eventually gave up on the reactor after spending hundreds of dollars and hundreds of hours trying to get it to work, i believe they dont work good at all and are poorly designed.

So we went with a dual dosing pump and bi onic 2 part and couldnt be happier

I've periodically had my effluent tube clog with salt creep. Some people have suggested taking the effluent tubing and replacing it with a larger diameter tubing, like the airline tubing for freshwater pumps.

I'm not sure if this is a similar problem or not, but there's got to be some reason your CO2 is not escaping. How many bubbles per minute are going into the reactor thru your bubble counter?

Dosing is a lot easier IMO.

lol.. i hate Ca reactors.. i took mine off line...could not get it tuned into my tank...

I love my calcium reactor. I posted in that thread. I'm sure we'll figure it out.

Capt_Cully i've got around 14 bpm, b/c I'm just starting out, I think I may have fixed the problem, at least for the moment, by swapping out the sump to reactor powerhead
