Hello All,
We have kept a mixed reef tank for about 4 years and did not quarantine properly, and now we have lost all of our SPS due to AEFW, and eunicid worm hatches that just plain Kicked my arse!!
So we have two tanks a 150G, and a 60 G cube and would like to start over with the 60G first.
What might be the best way to sterilize everything and start again? I read a couple of posts here about sterilizing rock and substrate and feel good about that end. But as for the tank, sump, and piping I was thinking about leaving the water and adding some bleach and let the tank cook as well for a couple of hours, then drain and clean.
We need to be rid of the pests and get a good new start, I really enjoy this hobby but I think if this happens again, we"ll be done.
Any thoughts or ideas would be welcome
