Lets refresh are memory on standard Micromussa Amakusensis

Here is my frag

But what about this bugger it has the same size polyps as a micro but the ridges throw me off. If it was not for the ridges i would say micr-akusensis or maybe micro- diminuta

here are the pics

i dont think favia there are a lot of sub sp in the acan family it might be one but the polyps are small like a micro

Yes it seems to have some favia features however the person who sold it to me had it priced like a micro not a favia.
If he new what area it came from that would help

well, I'd say that's probably the answer right there...

Actually it was my auction. I trying to re-coop some of the cost of the coral. However I had my questions about the coral thats why i posted it here also.

I have already change the wording in the auction to match my findings.

honestly I'd take it up with the seller that ripped you off, rather than reselling it, since you probably won't get nearly what you paid for it

I was not trying to dump the coral just re coop some of the cost. I like the coral and am speaking with the vendor. He is coming across kind of harsh. He gives a superior the thou vibe in his emails. we will see. He offered to take it back of course minus shipping. That's a big hurt for no product.
I just sent an e-mail asking the vendor to reduce the price of the coral to the price of other favia's on his site, and apply the difference towards a future purchase. So well see if he's cool with that.
it would make me happy.
