Need some stock tanks tonight

Luckily I was able to borrow some from Dennis at h2o ex. Now the work of tearing down (again). I may need help moving the glass tank when it's emptied though since it weighs a ton :(

and still i cant get that )*)*)(*)&^*&%&$ clownfish out of the overflow! now if tanks were built like clownfishes. Having a double chocolate haagen daz moment before I start.

I'll keep an eye on this side for a tank that footprint.
Someone is selling a peninsula type but 84" plexi here on CL.
You have a great supporting community up there Tina, MARS !!!

It seems to me like you could just put a clamp on it. That'd be stronger than the center brace siliconed in.

Drained half for tonight, need to make more water. Was thinking of that Ron, but this tank was in storage for a while before I got it, the silicone around the overflows was a little dry, now this, I don't think I want to try for 3 and have a seal around a glass panel go. I'm probably going to pick up an acrylic tank tomorrow. I've had enough of this with glass tanks :(.

I have three boxes of Reef Crystals if you need some. (600 gallons) I like that tank a lot, I'd get a quote to have it rebuilt. It was a 6' tank and not a 5' tank, right?

Yes, it's 6' I'm going to reuse the stand and stuff for the new tank. On the glass tank I'd resilicone everything to be on the safe side, but it is a sturdy tank.

There is another tank in San Jose that's a 180 gallon that the person got back to me on. It's also more expensive than the local one (and a drive). the 125 will be a small down grade since a 125 is actually 112 gallons? It doesn't have internal overflows (will be drilled) so I'm gaining a little space there. Both tanks are acrylic tru-vu's. The footprint will be pretty much the same on all 3 except the 180 is a little wider.

Just be careful, almost every used acrylic tank I've seen is a scratched up mess.

Thanks Ron,

Seen one of the tanks already and it is in good shape, just 4" shorter. Haven't seen the one in San Jose, it's a drive and also costs over 2x more than the 125 (but includes some equipment too). It has built in overflows but is currently being used as a planted tank, the 125 is a salt water tank.

The 125 TRU VU should be 72" L x 18" W x 20" high you won't miss the height I didn't when I switched my 135 glass to a 125 plexi leave out a couple rocks.
