Need Submersible Return Pump (Buffalo)

Hello all!
I'm sick of misting my terrarium every day, so I'm installing a sprinkler that runs to the sump underneath. Maxijet-600 gave me a drip. I need a spray. Let me know if anybody is looking to sell a return pump. Maybe, a mag 18 or 24. Or whatever. Let me know what you have and what you want for it. Thanks!

Also, the sprinkler heads connects to 1/4" tubing. If the tubing coming from the pump is 3/4", can anyone tell me if it is best to run it up the four feet to the top of the tank w/ 3/4" tube, or should I step down the tube diameter before I run it up? My plumbing experience is zero. Thanks.

i would think you would be ok with a smaller mag pump the problem that you have is that mj pumps aren't rated for head pressure. Try a mag3. Also what type of sprinklers are you using some of them are rated for about 3 gallons of water per minute so if you have a few of them the odds of getting them to spray are slim. Pics would be nice

Good point about the head pressure. So, what I want to do is run a hose from a pump sitting in the sump to the top of the terrarium, bring it in the top left corner (where the corner overflow is), and split the line to two 1/4" tubes that will feed the two sprinkler heads. They will hang upside down and mist the tank. The sprinkler heads each have a flow rate of 6-7 gph, but say nothing of the required pressure. I was getting sufficient pressure with the maxi-jet to make a really lame (~1.5" radius) 360 degree spritz holding the sprinkler 6" above the maxi-jet, but at 4' it was a slow, sad gurgle. Let me know what you think, please. I can embed the pics if it is helpful to anyone.

i would get a small mag pump maybe a 3 or a 5 should do more than what you need

Thanks, that's great news. Well, if anyone has a pump they want to sell in Buffalo area, let me know. If I don't hear from you in the next week, I'm shopping online (but I'd rather give you my money).
