need tank and suggestions

HI Everyone:

Some suggestions for a tank for my son's friend. He wants to set up a tank for a present for his girlfriend who is in absolute love of clowns...preferably the Nemo kind as they call it. Something small and simple. A pair of clowns and maybe another oddball or two. No corals or anything really...maybe lots of fake stuff. Something easy for an 18 year old to take care of.

So does anyone have any suggestions on tank size, and they are looking for a tank if anyone has something that might work for them. He wants to do this asap. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, the preferred minimum tank size for a pair of clowns is 30 gallons - so a 29 gallon tank would be fine.

Have fun and make sure he reads, reads, reads!

:D

Any particular color preference? I've got a granite 30g Oceanic tank...which I'm pretty sure I've got the top/lights and stand for. Nice tank, never used it. I'll let it go for $125 if I can find all the parts for it.

I just took down my 2 month old 37 gallon tank. The set-up still looks brand new.

It has the 37 gallon tank, glass top, and light strip.

I also have the 2 month old Fluval 205 canister filter - I LOVE this filter. I am getting the next step up 305 for my larger tank. This filter is SO quiet that you actually have to put your ear a few inches away from it to actually tell its running.

I can also give you the "live" sand for the substrate as well as a few other things I have here if you are interested.

Let me know.
