Well,....I have just purchase a sepia.b. it is still young at about 2.5". I acclimaticed it all correctly but, when i realised it in the basket for it to take some time out , it just seem to want to stick at one place and a few mins after that, i tried feeding it but it did not want to eat....What shall i do... leave it in the basket or release it into the tank.....i;m so afraid....

The cuttlefish did eat at the shop the owner gave it two and it eat it quickly...Can anyone tell me what could be the problem????

If someone just plucked you out of your home, shook you up, fouled your air, and threw you into a strange environment, you probably would not be hungrey either. Moving animals produces stress which is why so many die when its done. Drop the light levels, quit tramatizing it by trying to push food in its face, and give it some time to clam down. A day or two without food will not kill it. I would let it hide. Also, these animals are primarily nocturnal in the wild, so don't expect a lot of activity during the day - unless they are stressed.

2.5 inches does not mean that it is a young animal. In fact, mantle length is usually 5 cm or less so this sounds like a fully mature adult that probably will not live that long.
