need to move my toadstool

i need to move my toadstool. it's not very large, but has leaned up against a rock with my bta's and is getting stung. i tried moving it a little while i was moving some other things around. when i tried moving it, i ripped it a little near the base.

i think i've read somewhere that it should be ok, and you can cut these things up and make new ones all day long.

maybe i need a little re-assurance?

should be fine just keep an eye on it and keep your water quality
in check with regular water changes
