Need to relocate large Derasa

Hi, I have a very large (Small football) size clam that has grown so large it is getting stung by my bubble tip. I can move him to the other side of the tank but he will receive more current on that side of the tank. How much current is ok for these guys? I have a Tunze 6060 blowing from the left side to the right and I want to move him to the right side.

This guy has been with me for over 4 years so I need to get him a place.

as long as the tunze is not blowing directly on top of the clam it will be ok.

is the clam getting hurt by the anemone? i had several clams that used to touched my anemone with no ill effect on eaither or.

He seems to not open up as much on that side like it may be bothering him some. Does not appear to be doing any damage though.

they will open up less is turbid waters to protect themselves just like acros grow tighter in high flow arears.
