Need to setup temporary coral tank..

Going to break down my tank and sell. Going to downsize.

I want to, however, save most of my coral. Most of the zoos, palys, a blenny and clownfish. The rest will be sold.

Need suggestions on best way to setup something temporary? I won't be able to buy the new setup until the old one is sold.. So I need to setup the temp deal.

I'm thinking of something like a 20L.. but what about filtration? Temporary lighting?

Anyway, curious what you guys think/suggest.

The large rubbermaid containers from a place that sells farm supplies work great, and make great basement sumps or liverock cure stations down the road!

Depends on how long it will be. A skimmer is nice but you could ge away with just water changes. Lighting can be more of a problem. But you could set up spm compact florescent floods that are 6500k won't look pretty but will keep things alive for a couple weeks

I was wondering about that (compact floods). They are fairly cheap, and i could setup a few of those on a rubbermaid..

Shouldn't be very long. Shouldn't be more than 4 weeks.

Well zoos and palys arnt very light demanding I would think about anything will keep them going. I had a zoo rock I banished to the sump for 6 months no lights and they were still alive and opening up when I put rock in the refugium.

You should easy be able to get by with just WC on a temp set up. If u dont have very much u need to temp hold u could even get by with a 20 g rubermade storage tote.

What if I want to put a fish or three in there though? WC still enough? If so, how often? Daily? Weekly?
