Roger (or anyone that can help) ...

I'm trying to figure out the best way to configure my Tunze 6100 Streams on a 180g SPS system. I'm using (3) of them with magnet mounts. The 180g is an AGA setup with the corner overflows (quarter circles in the back corners). I noticed that the 7095 box mentions a 'Random' flow configuration but I can't figure out how to set it up. My thought was:

One on the right side, top, near the front glass pointing left.
Second on the left side, bottom, near the front glass pointing right.
Third one on back glass, left side, close to the overflow, near the top, pointing diagonally towards the front center of the tank.

Any thoughts on this and suggestions on how to configure the 7095 for random water flow? It's an SPS Barebottom System so I'm trying to keep detrius from settling anywhere. Do I need a fourth one? I also have one Penductor off the return pump going from left to right across the back glass about 4" off the bottom.

Thanks in advance.

Random is done by using Sequence mode and setting pulses with the pump speed knobs labeled 1a and 1b, 2a and 2b. This way the pumps come on in sequence but at varying speeds.

Roger,

Thanks! Do you think I'll need a 4th pump or will that be too much for a 180g? For the random flow, is there an interval that I need to set? I imagine they'll come on like A then B, then C, then only A, then B, then C, repeat ... or is it A on, then B on (A off), then C on (B off), then back to A on (C off), etc?

For random, should the speeds be like 100, 30, 70, or should they be ever increasing?

Thoughts would be great. ;)

Well, the first two knobs run the first 2 pumps so it is only a matter of which of those two speeds the pumps come on at, likewise for the second 2 knobs running the second two ports, in general 2 pumps is enough for a 180, I don't think you need anymore.
