Need worm assistance

I picked up a frag of zoo's from a local reefer and it came with some odd worms that I swear Ive seen somewhere here but cannot find them.

Worms are tiny, spagetti tenatcles tiny. They are brown/tan and literally look like a piece of fish poop until they stretch out in the current.

They extend out almost like its 'fishing'. The last half of its cast out has some form of hairs that extend out. Once it casts it retracts again into its fish poop form, rinse repeat.

Don't look like peanuts based on the pics I've seen.

If it yellowish with brown bands on the tentacles,it sounds like a spagetti worm.

perhaps digitate hydroids or the feeding tentacles of a benthic ctenophore?

I knew I had seen it somewhere.

Now the question is, is that what is causing some of the zooa polyps to not open? Are I they getting stung? And is that specific type of hydroid one I need to worry about? I know some hydroids are considered reaaaally annoying pests and there are others that are not as bad

I ended up tossing the frag out. I tried to tweeze the hydroids out and other methods I read about here would not be possible without killing the frag anyways. Rather not take the chance of those hydroids infesting the rest of my clean tank. The zooa's is not worth that.

I did get stung by the little bastards too.
