need your suggestions for new tank

How long has the tank been running? And was it running as it when you bought it from your friend? Worried about putting an anemone into a tank that was just set up.

"I just recently recieved a 30 gallon solana with 150mh from a friend."

Sorry I wasnt a bit more specific. He has had his tank for a while and just didnt have the time or rescources to keep it up so we moved it to my place.
